Hindu Temple brings you a fun-filled evening of GARBA – BHANGRA. Join us with family and friends and celebrate DIWALI with a DHOOM.

Suggested donation per family is $101 for sponsoring Lakshmi Poojan and $31 for attending any Archana.

If you want to sponsor Shri Ganesh and Lakshmi pooja, please call the temple at (303) 858-9927 or Pandit Deepak Raghunath at 1 201-887-5034, email: deepakraghunath5@gmail.com and give your name, Gotra and Nakshatra. You can bring fruits, flowers and small quantity of Prasad for the Pooja.

  1. For all individual donations of $151 and above one silver (Lakshmi-Ganesh) coin will be provided.
  2. Silver coin of Lakshmi-Ganesh will be available for purchase at $51 on Diwali Day at the temple.
  3. Children will join in candle lighting and Kids Only fireworks. Fireworks can be obtained in the temple at a suggested donation of $5.00.
  4. Fireworks are for KIDS ONLY, allowed only outside the temple and are celebrated under strict regulations. Use of personal fireworks is not allowed within temple premises.

Please join us with family and friends for the monthly Lord Jagannath Poojaa on October 21 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. After Vishnu Sahasra Nama Stotra reading, the priest will perform pooja and Abhisheka with 16 Upacharas, and recite Krishna Ashtottaram. This will be followed by Aarati. Lunch-prasad will be served after Aarati.

Skand Shasti Puja for Lord Kartikeya
Skand Shasti Puja for Lord Kartikeya

Skanda Sashti is observed on the sixth day of the bright fortnight from dewali (October – November). This day is dedicated to the second son of Lord Shiva – Lord Subramanya, also known as Kartikeya, Kumaresa, Guha, Murugan, Shanmukha and Velayudhan, who on this day, is believed to have annihilated the mythical demon TarakaSuran. TarakaSuran was booned by lord Brahma “He should get killed by the son of Lord Siva, born from Shiva’s creation alone.” Karthikeya was born as a ball of fire from Lord Shiva’s forehead eye to save the world from agyanam /ignorance.

Skanda Sashti  is celebrated in all Shaivite and Subramanya temples in India, Skanda Sashti commemorates the destruction of evil by the Supreme Being.
