7 PM – 8:00 PM: Devi Sukta followed by Garba/Dandiya

8:00 PM: Evening Arti and Prasad

During Navaratri days, Mother Goddess will be honored in various forms and will be dressed in accordance with the avataras each day. Pooja will be performed in the morning and evening. Every evening after Devi Pooja/Devi Stotra, there will be Garba/Dandiya, followed by Arti and Prasad. Please join us with family and friends and make this Navaratri season filled with fun and sweet memories.

Request for Community Participation: You are welcome to bring flowers, fruits and prasad items to offer to Maa Durga and share with other devotees. We request few families pick up a day to bring Prasad, that way we can organize the event and prasad will be available each day. Durga Ashtami, also known as Maha Ashtami is the eight day of the Navaratri. It is believed that Maha Shakti Durga, killed the demon Mahisasura with her trident on the day of Durga Ashtami. Maa Durga protects Her devotees like a mother saves her child. Let us all pray to her Lotus feet for a peaceful and prosperous life.

Morning Program:

  • Maha Gauri Puja: 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
  • Pushpanjali followed by Kichri Prasad

Evening Program:

  • Havan and Chandi Paath – 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
  • Aari – Dhup Dance 8:00 – 8:30 pm
  • Prasad
