Navaratri Celebration Continues Thursday, September 28

Navaratri celebrations began on September 28, and will continue till September 30. Various poojas are being performed in honor of Mother Goddess in the morning and evening.

Every evening after Devi Pooja, folks are performing Garba/Dandiya in front of Mother Goddess, followed by Arti and Prasad. Please join us with family and friends and be a part of this Navaratri season filled with prayers and fun-filled sweet memories.
You are welcome to bring flowers, fruits and prasad items to offer to Maa Durga and share with other devotees.

Thursday, September 28: Durga Ashtami Havan and Chandi Paath

Durga Ashtami, also known as Maha Ashtami is the eight day of the Navaratri. It is believed that Maha Shakti Durga, killed the demon Mahisasura with her trident on the day of Durga Ashtami. Maa Durga protects Her devotees like a mother saves her child. Let us all pray to her Lotus feet for a peaceful and prosperous life.

Morning Program:

  • Maha Gauri Puja: 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
  • Pushpanjali followed by Kichri Prasad

Evening Program:

  • Havan and Chandi Paath – 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
  • Aari – Dhup Dance 8:00 – 8:30 pm
  • Prasad

Vijaya Dashami is celebrated on the tenth day to signify the victory of good over evil.


September 28, 30 and October 1: Sushree Gopeshwari Devi Ji’s Satsang

Didi Gopeshwari Devi ji’s Program: Didi Gopeshwari Devi, a disciple of Jagadguru Kripalu Ji Maharaj is visiting Denver and conducting Satsanga at Hindu Temple.

Thursday, Sept 28 and Sept 30: The Satsang will be from 6 to 7:30 PM in the basement.

On Thursday and Saturday evenings, dinner Prasad will follow.

On Sunday, her Satsang will be from 12:30 to 1 PM in the prayer hall.


Sunday, October 1 – 11AM to 1PM: Shri Satya Narayana Pooja

Please join us with family and friends to participate in Satya Narayan Poojaa, on Sunday, October 1 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. We thank the sponsors of this pooja– Sharda Sahu, Binay Prasad, their son – Atharv and daughter Adrisha. The Sharda and Bipin are celebrating Adrisha’s very special – first birthday in the presence of God and seeking blessings from Lord Vishnu.
